Thank you for reading Love In Wonderland.

Since the book was published, readers have repeatedly asked me two questions:

"What happened before Love In Wonderland?"

"What happened after Love In Wonderland?"

The truth is that Love In Wonderland is only one chapter in a much larger story—a true journey that began in the mountains of Laos, passed through refugee camps in Thailand, and continued into a new life in America.

Now, for the first time, you have the opportunity to help decide which part of that story I write next.

The segment that receives the most votes will become my next book.

Part II - The Refugee Camps (A working title)

They escaped death—but survival was only the beginning.

Freedom did not mean safety.

Behind the barbed wire fences of overcrowded refugee camps, thousands of displaced families wait for a future that may never come.

Days turn into months.

Months turn into years.

Hunger becomes routine.

Disease spreads.

Violence lurks in the shadows.

Hope is tested again and again.

For one young refugee, childhood is shaped by uncertainty, fear, and the desperate dream of reaching America.

And just when freedom finally seems within reach, one devastating mistake threatens to destroy everything.

Part II is a powerful story of hope, heartbreak, endurance, and the human spirit's refusal to surrender.

Part III - The New World (A working title)

America was supposed to be the happy ending.

Instead, it became the beginning of another battle.

Arriving in America with little more than hope, a young refugee is thrust into a world he does not understand.

While other teenagers worry about fitting in, he carries responsibilities far beyond his years.

He becomes a translator.

A caretaker.

A provider.

A bridge between two worlds.

Yet beneath the surface lies a silent struggle.

Isolation.

Discrimination.

Pressure.

Identity.

And the crushing weight of expectations.

As he searches for where he belongs, he must confront a question that millions of immigrants face:

How do you build a future without losing yourself?
